Comprehensive dental examination

We take pride in providing our patients the best dental visit ever. Whether it's your first time at the dentist or you are visiting us for the first time, we guarantee that our comprehensive exam is thorough, informative, and fun. What makes us a cut above the rest? We use the latest diagnostic technologies, present easy to understand patient education materials, and spend quality time sitting with you to answer your treatment and financial questions.

Tour of the office

As an integral part of your first visit with us, we would like to give you a complete tour of our office. From the front door to our staff lounge, we want to show you that we are all about integrity, cleanliness, and consistency. The more familiar you are with the environment, the less there is to fear regarding any unknowns.

Take home patient education materials

We use a program called CAESY to help aid our patients in seeing and understanding the dental conditions and treatments we provide. We want to make sure you are never left in the dark and will provide free materials to take home for you to review. We want to empower you to make the right decisions and part of that is to give you all the information you need. Provided in each treatment section, you can find a link to a CAESY presentation on the treatment of interest.

Digital diagnostic imaging

Gone are the days of film and processing. Our office utilizes digital technology to give us the best quality to diagnose your dental conditions. The digital world in the realm of dentistry is continuously improving and we want to make sure you are receiving the most current standard of care. Compared to film processing, digital X-rays emit 90% less radiation and use no chemicals. We want what is safe for you as well as the environment.

New patient interviews

As a part of your comprehensive dental examination, we want to sit down with you and spend time communicating treatment options, working together to educating you, as well as catering to your specific dental and financial needs. As promised in our patient's bill of rights, no lecturing will be done! Our "dental education" room will allow you to feel comfortable about moving forward with meeting your dental needs.

Conscious sedation "laughing gas"

Part of how we perceive fears in the dental office today can come from previous experiences that may have not been pleasant. We want to give you the means to overcome your fears by providing the utmost comfort. "Laughing gas" is a safe means to provide a conscious sedative effect using a metered tank that administers nitrous oxide and oxygen.

Hygiene care

3 out of every 4 patients have a form of gum disease, and yet, many go through their lives without knowing that they have it. When we can determine the conditions of your gums, we can then provide the proper treatment to target the cause of gum disease. Without healthy gums, it is impossible to have healthy teeth. Hygiene care can be in the form of a "prophy", which cleans above the gum line. Deep scaling is a form of cleaning that helps remove tartar that has built up in pockets below the gum line. We will help diagnose what you need with our comprehensive exam and advanced diagnostic technology.

Oral surgery

When a tooth is non-restorable, we may have to remove the tooth to prevent or stop infection from spreading. We want to provide a safe and painless experience for our patients by using local anesthetics and the option to use conscience sedation, also known as "laughing gas". Should our patient desire to be completely sedated, our neighboring oral surgeon, Dr. Daniel T. Richardson can provide intravenous sedation. Please speak to us if you need more information!
